The Belgian street artist is coming up in the world of street art and his Great White on a motorway pillar has gotten the attention of the world. Some of the best street artists have perfected their ability to transform their surroundings into works of art and Smates has definitely done that here.
2. Replete
The street artist from Leeds is known for his innovative pieces that make it look as if his art is hovering. He does so by painting onto stretched pieces of cling film. His F-15 origami fighter jet is made from actual dollar bills and looks as if it’s gliding.
3. Flix
Hailing from Venezuela, Flix takes everyday objects and makes them transform into multi-colored robots.
4. Isaac Cordaal
The Spanish artist takes ordinary objects and then creates miniature figures in his environment, such as this sieve that features a sculpted face that’s stuck in the cracks of the pavement in Dalston.
5. Lake
The German artist is as mysterious as Banksy, allowing his work to speak for itself. This Mexican bandit is on the rooftop somewhere in Guadalajara.
6. Martin Ron
The human-hand hybrid by Argentinian artist Martin Ron depicts urban surrealism mixed with hyper-realism.
7. Mr Thoms
The Italian street artist Mr Thoms has transformed a simple wall into a masterpiece with his trimmed bush piece.
8. Nomerz
This house with teeth is seriously a masterpiece and many have hailed Nomerz as the “Russian Banksy.” He’s known for transforming buildings into faces.
9. Olek
Street crochet artist Olek creates his works of art using his crochet talents. The Polish artist uses his crochet hook to yarn bomb anything he likes.
10. Phlegm
Another UK street artist is Phlegm and he’s hailed for his surreal monochromatic illustrations that decorate the UK.
