Now that you know the day exists, hopefully you are already making plans to spend it with your own grandma. No matter what your grandmother prefers to do with her time, this is the day in which you can be sure she will have plenty of time to do it – and plenty of people willing to support her. Write a poem on Grandmas Day. A poem is a personal way to let her know how much she means to you.
Create a canvas collage of pictures that show good times you have shared with her. Display it around the house or in her room or a place where she spends most of her time, where she can relive the moments spent with love with her family.
Take her out for the day, perhaps to a local park, museum, or even a movie or be adventurous and take her to the beauty parlour and get her a complete makeover. Wouldn’t that be sweet?
Prepare a delicious meal or her favourite snack which she can enjoy.
A performance dedicated to your grandmother will be a special memory. Organize all of the cousins to sing a song for grandma. If she lives far away, send an audio or video recording of the children singing.
