It should be someplace where the print is visible from anywhere in the room, a spot that is well lit and big enough to make the canvas print the focal point. You could hang one canvas print or a combination of canvas prints that have a common theme. In either case, the print(s) should make good use of the wall and the display should be to the advantage of the print(s).
As a general rule, wall prints are hung at the eye level, at a height of about 160 cm from the floor. A small print can be put on the small wall, but bigger walls deserve either one big print or a combination of prints that cover about 40-50% of the visible wall. If you are planning a gallery of prints, then the prints have to be arranged such that each one fits in with the rest. A display as a grid or any geometrical shape should work but the order should be decided before the hooks are nailed into the wall. Since most canvas prints are wrapped around a frame, the seamless look gives flexibility while positioning more than one frame.
Canvas prints generally weigh less than framed prints or photographs because of the hollow frames around which they are wrapped. Make sure that you use the supplied fixing for your canvas print. For bigger frames drilling holes into the wall and using the traditional painting hooks is advisable. This not only gives the frame a stable surface but also allows the print to sit flush on the wall. Remember to measure properly and mark the walls accordingly before drilling any holes because unsightly marks will detract from the print while viewing.
